Dear Club Secretary I would appreciate if you could post our Spring Sixty event on your internal boards to your members. As you may know, this is the second year of this 60 Km charity event . This is a leisure event and kicks of the sportif cycling season, hopefully with a nice gentle start, which allows all grades of cyclists to get involved. Registration from 9am on Sunday 10th March at Shane O’Neills GFC in Camlough with the event starting at 10.00am. There will be a pitstop at Fitzpatrick’s award winning restaurant in Rockmarshal where tea, coffee, soup and sandwiches will be available. And refreshments will be available in Shane O’Neills GFC after the event. The event was hugely successful in 2012 with over £1500 being raised for two local charities (Rathore School and Meningitis Research) and a great day being had by all cyclists. This year we hope to surpass that target with your help. The route is available on Facebook at Bernardines Bikers and takes in the beautiful scenery of Camlough lake, Slieve Gullion, Rockmarshal and Ravensdale Park. It is not too challenging and all grades of riders should be well fit for the route. The route will be well marshalled with both motorcycle attendants and road marshalls at all junctions to ensure all riders safety comes first. Any questions, please reply to me or enquiries@camloughcycling.com. You can also call me on 0782 4567846 or Mike Mathers on 0784 1423103. Best regards and happy cycling Jason Quinn BCC Camlough Club Secretary 0782 4567846 Mike Mathers BCC Camlough Chairman 0784 1423103
