Hi there,
Please note there has been a change of date so not to clash with the All-Ireland Hurling Final replay. Also I would really appreciate it if you could forward this mail on to anyone you feel may be interested in taking part in the Cycle.
All funds raised from the day will enable Console to provide the following Services throughout the Country:
· 24Hr Free Phone Suicide Prevention Helpline – 1Life (1800 24 7 100)
· 24Hr Free Phone Bereaved by Suicide Helpline - Console (1800 201 890)
· Individual & Family Counselling Service for those Bereaved through Suicide as well as those who are Suicidal
· Counselling Service for Children and Young People affected or Bereaved through Suicide (Child Psychotherapy)
· Therapeutic Support Groups for those Bereaved by Suicide
· Suicide Prevention and Intervention Programmes for Children and Adolescents
· Education and Awareness Programmes
You can be assured that your support will effectively save lives and help in our efforts to reduce the high level of Suicide here in Ireland.
Thanks once again!
Kind Regards,
Ciaran Tighe

Along the Grand Canal, Dublin
Sunday 7th October @ 10am
Join the Lord Mayor of Dublin and a host of well-known personalities from the world of sport, TV, and politics, for the second Console Grand Canal Cycle.
Beginning at the Grand Canal Dock, just outside the Bord Gais Energy Theatre, the route follows the Grand Canal as it meanders its way from the heart of
Dublin City to the beautiful lush green fields of Co. Dublin.
~
This is a fun and leisurely cycle and will run along the Green Route, a newly constructed dedicated cycle path along the banks of the canal.
The cycle joins the road for a short period at Parnell Road and then drops back on to the Green Route at Inchicore and heads on away from all traffic to
the 12th Lock at Lucan.
~
The cycle will be fully supervised by the Gardai with a number of them taking part to supervise throughout the duration of the Cycle.
~
The distance is exactly 20 miles there and back, and should take no more than an hour and a half at a gentle pace to complete.
Sponsorship Cards are available and a Registration Fee of €20 will apply on the day to anyone who chose not to avail of a Sponsorship Card.
Also, we would prefer if everyone intending to join us to please Register using the below link.
It will give us an idea on numbers so we can prepare for the day better.
