Dear Club Secretary Co-operation Ireland's plans for the first Dublin-Belfast-Dublin Maracycle since 1998 are well advanced. Following last year's cracker, we will be having a huge celebration at Belfast's famous Europa Hotel on Saturday 25 June and we hope to be in the company of cyclists from every county on the island of Ireland. The proposed route changes for the 2 day 200+ mile sportif include: 1. Bypassing Drogheda to Dublin via Duleek, Ardcath, Garriston and St Margarets to DCU in North Dublin on both days. 2. Using the A1 from Belfast to Newry on Sunday 26 June as the route is much quieter on a Sunday morning. As we are still in the planning stages, we'd love to have your feedback on these proposals. Preliminary entry forms and training schedules are already downloadable from our website and on-line applications should be available 1 March 2011. Please forward details on this year's challenge to your club members.
